Serving the Netzarim Jewish Community in the Diaspora
Please refer all questions to the Shuvat Yisrael Beit Din at [email protected]
The Shuvat Yisrael Beit Din is composed of:
Rabbi Klutstein, Av Beit Din, Rabbi Tikvat Yisrael, Honolulu, Hawaii
Rabbi Ian K. Michaels, Segan Beit Din, Rabbi Congregation Beit Menuchah, Piedmont, Missouri
Rabbi Sydney Kim, Dayyan Beit Din, Rabbi Beit Simchat Vetikva
The Shuvat Yisrael Beit Din serves the primary function of maintaining Halakha. That is, dealing with matters of biblical rulings with a focus on restoring Biblical emphasis in our daily lives.
Rulings on Simcha, Get, and all disputes concerning Halakha are determined on an individual basis. Requests for a Get are accepted after thorough counseling.
Any person bringing a dispute over halakha to the Beit Din agrees in advance that the ruling of the Beit Din will be final, and that an "Opinion" will be issued and posted as part of the regulations of Shuvat Yisrael.
Basically, if you don't want the answer, don't ask the question if you're not going to abide by the decision of the Beit Din.
As per the Regulations of Shuvat Yisrael, all rulings and opinions issued by the Beit Din will be published on this site. The only exception to this rule will be matters that are of a personal nature, and these are confidential.
All rulings pertaining to Halakha will be posted.
SHUVAT YISRAEL BEIT DIN Regulations:
The Shuvat Yisrael Beit Din shall be comprised of a minimum of three (3) Netzarim Rabbis. Members of the Shuvat Yisrael Beit Din must be ordained rabbis with a minimum seven years of messianic service. (The seven years can include prior ordinations if approved by the board.)
So as not to start any controversy or arguments, women will not be included on the beit din at this time.
All decisions and rulings will be published.
